Paul's Biography

I've been a resident of Rushmere St. Andrew for 3 years and value being part of our local community. My background spans digital consultancy, fundraising, web development and digital training.

As Head of Digital for the Arts Marketing Association, I support audience and community engagement in the arts, cultural and heritage sectors. I also run my own business focused on ethical and mindful artificial intelligence training (AI). I am currently developing AI literacy programmes for various organisations and building digital platforms that enhance audience engagement.

This professional experience brings valuable skills to the council in community engagement, digital projects, training, data analysis and marketing. I am keen to encourage digital literacy in the parish – particularly with the big changes AI will bring. 

I cherish our parish's green spaces and recognise the significant health and wellbeing benefits they offer residents. I'm particularly keen to help more residents engage with our community, green spaces and connect with others. Many people struggle to balance work commitments, caring responsibilities or feelings of isolation – and a vibrant local community can help by providing regular events, volunteer opportunities, and inclusive activities that bring us together and enrich everyone’s lives.
