On Saturday 7th of September, the first of 8 new village gateway signs were unveiled.
The signs are being installed at the entrances to the village as part of the community initiatives within the “made” Neighbourhood Plan, in which we are aiming to strengthen the identity of the Parish.
The signs incorporate the new Parish Council logo, which celebrates the unique surroundings, wildlife and the history of our Parish.
The Chairman unveiled the signs with Edna and Ted and said “I was especially pleased to be joined by the oldest resident of the Parish at 104 and Ted who represented the younger generation. Thanks to all involved, especially Cllr Lawson and Cllr McCallum for the funding.
